How to improve IT education in Nepal
One gazette-level rule would rewrite every semester before it.
Ministry and TU do not need a new building. They need to replace the project report with a hostname, the viva with a walkthrough, and attendance marks with commit history. That is the cheapest reform in Nepal's IT education system. Until it exists, students still follow the IT learning path on their own.
URL in the marksheet
If Google cannot fetch it, the student did not pass.
Walkthrough exam
Change a line. Show the deploy. No theatre.
Public archive
Finals stay up a year. Fake clones die in daylight.

CTEVT
Should CTEVT IT syllabus be updated in Nepal
Hardware still matters. FoxPro does not. Ask Kalanki what they want.
Create an industry board with veto power over the practical list. If private employers have not requested the tool in five years, drop it. Keep networking, Linux, and repair. Add git, HTML, and a $5 deploy. CTEVT’s mandate is employability. Honour it. The lag versus the world is Nepal vs global technology.

Internships
IT internship policy Nepal government should make
If the code is gone when the intern leaves, the state paid for a letter.
Do not mandate warm chairs. Mandate a named ticket, a review, and a URL that still works. That closes the work-experience loop without pretending every SME is a Google campus. Pay a stipend so only rich students are not the intern class.
- 01Ticket
Named deliverable
Written before week one. Visible to the college.
- 02Pay
Stipend, not exposure
Exposure is what you have before the desk.
- 03Proof
Still live at month seven
The intern left. The feature did not.

Faculty and parks
Should Nepal build more IT parks or fix IT colleges
A teacher with no public origin cannot grade one.
Industry residencies for lecturers. One public project every two years to keep the post. Affiliation audits that count URLs, not furniture. Blame without this menu is empty. The blame map is shall we blame Nepal’s government for IT.
Lecturer residency
Six weeks in a company that ships. Then they can teach git without folklore.
Affiliation by output
Campuses with zero student URLs lose seats.
No more empty parks
Fiber and assessment beat a ribbon-cutting.
